I started sending mine out about a week and a half ago (before the 'three months to go' mark), but most of the people I sent invites to already knew they were coming. But it really depends, you can send them out when ever you want (but with two years to go until your wedding I'd wait for another year, at least, to send invites out).

I'm sending mine out in January/February 2015 which is 5/6 months before the wedding .. RSVP by date is 4th May which is a month before numbers need to be in so I have time to chase if needs be.. xxx

Thanks peeps, I want to design my wedding invites now, so just wanted feedback for what RSVP date to put on them, so they're all ready to post at a future date.

I started sending mine yesterday, with an RSVP date of two months before the wedding date, the venue needs food/number confirmations four weeks in advance.

Unfortunately it turns out they need a large envelope stamp, so its a good job I took them into the post office to check. They're small enoguh to be a normal letter, but the fastening makes them too thick :(
