I have a problem, my friends mum was goi to do my invites, for free, this was her assuming she was bridesmaid. I never mentioned she would be, then after she realised she wasn't my friend was abit funny with me for a while. She said her mum would still do it for £50 I said that would be lovely. Then 2 weeks ago we saw her mum had a meeting and I described what I wanted, heart shaped etc, and I needed a map , a poem, and it to be my parents inviting people on the invite. Also evening ones and order of service. She said she couldn't do heart shapes. So we designed something else, but I wasn't overly impressed. Since en we have been emailing, but what she is show me isn't that great. Also she has quoted me between £150-175 for the invites for day and evening. And order of service, is this a good price? It'll be about 80 invites in total and 80 order of services. Where have you all get yours from? I really want a heart themes, wi swirly pretty font, and t embellish it myself.
Do you know any recommended god price sites? Or shall I go down the route and make the myself?

I've made mine myself as like you i'm quite specific to what i want. I've made 60 invites/rsvp and 100 order of service for about £35. I got the everything of the bay its much cheaper. For the inserts i just used a fancy word type on the computer and got some nice paper - really easy xx

Off topic (slightly) - but wow Kel - they're gorgeous.
The price doesn't seem to be the issue, you're not happy with the invitations. Why get ones you're not happy with? I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Have an Internet search for heart themed invites? I bet you get loads

I made mine myself as I didn't want to pay loads. I made 40 day invites, 20 evening invites, RSVP card and currently making the order of service. If you are willing to pay I would go with someone else as you don't seem pleased with what she has come up with. Does seem a good price tho. Depends if you have the time and patience. My invites are in my photo album x x

Some invites are ridiculously priced, one sample I received we're charging £5.65 an invite! The ones I like are £2.15 which is less than half thank god!

Have a look at my photo album (invites) what you are describing is very similar to what i have ordered. I was quoted £5 + per card but found them on the Bay of E for £1.50 each. Probably still on the expensive side but worth it. i had the backing paper changed to coral which is my colour theme. xx

I'm getting my dad and my fiancé's mum to do them, as they are good on computer graphics. I know that vistaprint are reasonable, and you design them yourself, but I don't know how much choice there is on the shape.

I'm useless at crafts etc, but I managed to make my own, spent a little bit of money getting the bits to do it, but overall much cheaper than buying them and I had loads of fun, and so far I've only had really lovely feedback, so you might want to give it a go yourself if you can't get exactly what you want, might surprise yourself!

we're doing our own invites but keeping them really simple; a postcard with a separate page with all the directions, hotel info etc. I think we're also going to print our own OOS however I was looking on the bay and vist@ and it might not cos much more to have them printed for us! Need to wait until our next meeting with the Vicar before we can get them done though!

I got mine from vista print and their gorgeous!! £45 for 100 so really good just make sure you spell check everything because once you sumbit you can take it back...I think I have a 25% off if anyones wanting it (if I can find it again) lol xx
