We have already made our pocketfold invitations & have been having a play around with insert ideas. I would really appreciate your honest opinion (good or bad), please ignore the dodgy editing where I've removed our names lol.

Thanks Flossie, I've just noticed i've made a mistake with the date, it should say 2015 whoops.

I think I like the second one. The birds look a bit more 'real' if you know what I mean although I do like the colour in the first. I noticed the date too lol x

I didn't even notice the date, lol. I do like the second one (and I love bird cages) but just prefer the colours of the first one.. it looks more bright and 'fresh' if you know what I mean.. more wedding-y and cheerful! x

Thanks everyone, I love the 2nd one & H2B prefers the 1st, why can't things be simple!! Do you think it would look odd if I used the 2nd one for the main invite & then used the image from the 1st for the RSVP or something? Or is it better to keep them all matching?
CommentAuthorKatie M
I prefer the second one.....more rustic/vintage looking. All depends on which would best suit your theme :-)

You could use them both if you wanted, like you say use one for the main invite and one for the R.S.V.P, some might say they should all match but it really doesn't matter. Or could you use one for day and one for evening invites?

Could you combine the two and do colourful birds in the silver/gold bird cage? I don't know how easy that would be. Or make it look like the birds have escaped the cage through its open door to the branch. Again not sure how easy that would be but could let you both have bits that you like. Third option is toss a coin ;)

Donna were not having seperate day/evening guests Kirsty the birds in the cage are colourful like the 1st one, there smaller birds though so maybe thats why the colour isn't showing as clear. It probably doesn't help either that the 2nd one is a pic taken on my phone of the printed invite, whereas the 1st is from ph0t0sh0p. Close up of 2nd one

I still really like the second... I was even tempted to ask you to send me the template for our evening guests.
They're both beautiful though, so whichever you go for will be brilliant

Donna you can use the image if you want, I took it from g00gle. I believe you can just right click the image & then save it. I'm going to print both invites out to see what they look like on paper & hopefully come to a decision!!
