Any one booked or planning to book their honeymoon with an online travel agent? I've seen a few deals i really like the look of but a little nervous about the companies as I've never heard of them before. The companies I've looked at are b0n v0yage and th3 intern3t trav3ll3r. Any help would be great xxx

Well I've got a holiday booked for 25th April which was through v0y@ge prive... so if you can wait, I'll let you know. Lol. Seems legitimate though. I've had email confirmation of all the booking details and they give you a voucher to print off. We booked flights separately though because it was cheaper as we're getting a hire car so didn't want private transfers. As long as your holiday is protected by ATOL, or you've taken out insurance in case something goes wrong, you should be alright xx

Thanks :) They really do have some awesome deals on there so if you can get your honeymoon through them it's well worth it. I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully well or I'll be sleeping in a tent in Halkidiki. Haha. xx

Make sure they're ABTA protected and take out travel insurance. Worth g00g1ing online reviews too.

Had our dream perfect honeymoon in Hawaii!
I've not booked with those companies but all my holidays for the past 10 years I have booked myself online, like IDL said make sure there protected ABTA and ATOL and pay on accredit card to if you can and that's protection to, also check reviews and take out insurance x

So, just back from the hols - I would DEFINITELY book through v0y@g3 again. £300 (plus £60 each for flights, but booked those through the airline direct as was cheaper) for 2 people for a week full board in a 5* suite in Greece, 20% discount in the spa as well. Got 2 hour long massages for about £60. It was loooovely. :) xx

Well I booked with well known ex pedia and they double charged me for flights and it took them a week to acknowledge they overcharged me by £300 after lots of me shouting at a lady in India I got my money back but really stressed me out for a while! Hoping that'll be the end of my sagas with them!

That's ridiculous, Sprucey!! Touch wood, we always book online, and not had any major problems. At least you got the money back in the end! I'd have been proper stewing. Admiral once took £968 out of my account 3 days after payday by mistake, I could have breathed fire! x

i havent booked through the ones you have mentioned but have used online travel agents before as said above make sure they are ABTA. normally worth paying the extra charge to pay with a credit card x

It was lucky I had the money in my account but only because I was due to pay my rent!! Bloody furious I was! It's even more infuriating when everyday you speak to someone else and they say something totally different to the person the day before! They've prob put a note on my account to give me the most horrible hotel room with terrible view now the amount I was shouting at them! Ha :/
