Hi girls I need some help...

I bought my flower girl a petticoat of the bay and it arrived today... I sent them this....

    Dear ****
Hi this arrived today and this underskirt has definitely been sized wrong, this will in no way fit a 2-4 yr old. It says on the listing the inching is 14"-24" when I fully stretch it out it measures 12"
I tried this on my 12 month old niece (she is normal/average size for her age) and it was far too tight for her...
I hope you can understand my annoyance as this is for my god daughters flower girl dress and she cannot wear it....
Please advise on how to rectify this problem
    Amy

    Just got this back

think there is a bit confusion/misunderstanding here. 14"-24" means around the waist, not laying flat 14" - 24". So it's when the petticoat is laying flat, it's 7" no stretched, so in a loop it would be 14". When stretch it, it's 12", and in a loop it would be 24" Our petticoat is made to little tighter than other petticoats so it can give a bit puffed out effect. Sorry to hear that it doesn't work out for you well. Would you like to do a return? Please let us know.

I'm so annoyed because they've basically admitted their sizes are wrong!
    It's from USA
    What do I reply?

I would just tell them you are returning it as its the wrong size and you would like a bigger size? Or refund?

    I've sent this...

    Dear ***

I understand about the petticoats circumference. However, you've pretty much admitted that your sizes are not standard with you saying "petticoat is made to little tighter than other petticoats so it can give a bit puffed out effect." Therefore your item is not as described.
I do wish to exchange this petticoat for a size large as I can always take it in a little...
However, as this is your mistake on the listing I assume you will pay for all postage costs. As I am in the UK and you are in the USA this has made things awkward.
    Regards
    Amy

i would still open a dispute case through ebay you shouldn't have to keep something thats not been listed correctly and seen as its there fault and have admitted to it they should pay for return postage. x
