We go for £20 if we've only been invited to the evening do, and up to £50 if it's a full invite for family/close friends.

    i agree with OWB.

Its so hard isnt it, we will be asking for cash as we will of had the house a while by then etc and feel bad when dont use thing people get you.
We are planning on telling people not to put the cash in cards but will have a post box or we maybe setting up a thing with travel agesnt so people can pay off towards honey moon or things to do while we away (that way we dont know who gave us what

we just give what we can afford for OH's Brother we gave £50 as it was all we could afford at the time. We went to my cousin's evening do and we gave them £25 so it depends on who it is and what part of the day we have been invited to

I'd just bung a twenty in, it's just generally what I always give when someones wanting cash instead of a present. Ive not been to many weddings though, and the most recent, I didnt even know the couple, I was just the plus one at the evening do haha, and before then i was a kid.... so I'd just have to assume £20 was ok lol

I went to his uncles wedding last week and put £40 in the card as thats literally all i could afford because i hadnt been paid. If I was an evening guest then Id put £20 in, but day then depending who it was Id like to try for £50, not so close, then £25. Depends on how well you know them/how close you are xx

I think twenty minimum. And maybe a bit more for a day guest...

It's best if your parents are going too coz then you can give them a fiver and tell them to put your name on the card looooool xx

Me and H2B gave his brother £50 on his wedding day but I'd probably give £20 to people who weren't immediate family x x
