I'm getting married on the 19th of July and I'm soooo behind =( I was doing so well but was in and out of hospital for months at the end of last year and was too unwell to do anything! I'm really trying to knuckle down and get it done but working 12 hour days 5 days a week and trying to plan a wedding is getting difficult! How far have you girls got? Xx

Sorry to hear you've not been well. could you make a list of what needs to be done and put it in priority order IE things you know you need to book/pay deposits for/suppliers that you definitely what that may book up in advance. then for all the rest delegate what you can.

The woman who is decorating our venue does flowers, stationary and venue decoration.. If you could find a person / company who does that then you'd be crossing 3 things off in one go :-)

Our florist is handling our centrepieces for us and you can find great local venue dressers on the 'book'. I'd check with your venue for local dj's, they will know who's good and who's not. Jewellery/dresses/underwear - There are some great sales happening at the min with Debs and B.H.S. Defo ask for help from people though and delegate them each a job to source and price separate things for you. Don't worry though, you've got plenty of time left, my mum organised her church wedding with 2 receptions in just 6 weeks! Good luck! <3

That's what your bridesmaids are there for. Maybe you could send your bridesmaids off together to sort out their jewellry and shoes. I would say prioritise DJ, wedding and cars, as they are the things that might get booked up. Maybe get other people to do the leg work to get quotes though, and use the QuoteMe tool on here. A florist may well be able to cover centre pieces and dressing as well. Invites need to be done reasonably soon in order to get responses back in time, but maybe you know someone who's good at doing graphic design on a computer. Is H2B pulling his weight? Maybe he could deal with car and DJ.

Don't panic ( says me the worlds greatest worrier). Write a list and prioritise. I'm getting married 28 June and have a fairly substantial list left but am attacking things in terms of months. By the end of feb I will....
    Have done evening invites
Bought rings (no idea what I want)
    Had a hair trial.
    Good luck chick xxx

I agree, I'm sure your bridesmaids will help you out, but just don't panic and stay calm. Could your family help a little? x

First step.. Deep breath.. It will be fine...

Hair and make up can't be researched on PC.. Arrange consultations at your house on the days ur not working. Same for photographers, cars, DJ etc.. Also if your on book of face go on the local selling Page and say what ur looking for. People will give you recommendations..

Jewellery, shoes and underwear can be bought online too. Just give yourself 30 minutes on an evening to find things. Book appointments, otherwise you'll never make the time..

Get bridesmaids and family in and helping u out.. Could h2b take anything on? DJ?? Xx

Get the invites out first, then they are out of the way. You can always draft peoples help with many other things. I have also found the Bay of E very useful for buying things too.

Yes, deffo get those invites out. Once you start doing stuff and get the ball rolling the rest will start to flow!

I would then sort out your Photographer, Cars and DJ as they will be getting booked up for the peak months, also venue dressers - they might be able to do centre pieces too!
Then call around for Hair and makeup, you may be able to get a deal if a salon does both or maybe even a mobile hair/beauty person might be a good idea?
    Next do flowers.
Centre pieces(if not done by venue dresser),jewellery underwear etc can be done last because they are things that can be found everywhere!

    Keep us updated!!
