we recently found out that i was pregnant so decided to change that date of the wedding to after the baby is born, so our new date is Friday 6th September 2013 :D.
Just wanted to share the happy news with all :D and to have a little moan as every time i told a member of the family their first question was what about the wedding??!! grrr as if i didnt have a million and one other issues going through my head at the time.
but lucky our venue was very helpful, when we explained we wanted to keep their venue but change the date they were very accommodating and even let us keep our winter package of £2995 for everything but move the date to September... so now im extremely happy as will have a little baby who can come to the wedding and hopefully have a sunny wedding day.
Are there any other expectant mothers on here and have you had the same issues with family member's?

We were the same, thankfully hadn't booked anything. So my little girl came at Christmas and we are also getting married September 2013, time to lose the weight haha!!

Congratulations! Lovely news, and I know what you mean about people asking, we had the same thing, when we told people. most reactions were what are you doing about the wedding. Including my MIL2b, not even a congratulations, just straight away "well you best still be having the wedding"

Brilliant news, congratulations! The baby is worth putting the wedding off for a while. We've got a year to go and now everyone keeps asking me when we'll be trying for a baby. Flippin ell, I wanna get the wedding done first then we'll plan the next big thing. Good for you though Hun, hope you have an easy pregnancy with no sickness, crazy cravings, heartburn and minimal weight gain. x
