We went to the hospital yesterday and they have said our baby has no heartbeat its gone i feel so mad, confused, angry and guilty my baby was 5 weeks and 6 days and now its gone to the sky i just wanted something to go right for us that make 4 babies ive lost to the sky now

I'm so sorry hun. Are they absolutely sure? A lot of the time they can't see the heartbeat until 7-8 weeks. My aunt was told her little one was gone, went back two weeks later and she was growing perfectly.
Don't give up hope, I had 4 miscarriages and 5 chemical pregnancies before my little boy stuck and he's now a happy 7 month old. Lots of love x

You should get a second opinion, as like a previous poster said a lot of the time the foetus is too small to see any heartbeat. At my first appointment with my doctor he told me himself he doesn't tend to send women for scans until they are 7 weeks because according to him most of the time there is no point as the scans cannot detect enough.

Just to add - if I was you I would book another scan for a few days or maybe even 1 week's time and keep taking the folic acid.

So sorry tto hear your news but as others have said maybe seek a second opinion I went for my 12 week scan and they said they couldn't pick up a heart beat turned out I was only 8 weeeks pregnant 2 weeks later had another scan and tthey managed to pick it up. Keep faith when the time is right xx
