Im new to this so lets hope i've posted right lol. Im marrying my partner of 5 years and 2 children later in the Dominican republic, peurto plata, bahia principe san juan hotel. My dad emmigrated their around 16 months ago so where better to get married.
Anyone ever married in a bahia principe hotel or even this exact hotel? Any advise?
We dont jet off till 4th july 2012 and not yet had my package from thomson.

Hi Kirsty.... Firstly welcome to UKB... its a friendly site, that you WILL become addicted too... Dont be afraid to ask, as if one person dont know the answer you have lots of others that will or might!!
Secondly.. i dont know anyone whose gotten married over there, but one of my Bridesmaid is over there now on Holiday.. shes due to come back 5 days b4 i get married... lets hope theres no delay in flights lol... She text me at 3am (as they are 5 hours behind) saying how hot it is there at the mo!!! Jealous as hell lol...

I havent got married there, but I have been and it was fab! Ohhhhh make sure you take the helicopter ride. It takes your breath away.
Also make sure that you do get ALL your jabs and tablets!

For getting married in the Dominican Republic you will need to have some documents translated and legalised.
The Translation and Legalisation Company (TLC UK) is a company specialised in this type of service and they can take care of everything for you; so it gives you piece of mind.
