Hi everyone! I thought I'd come and give you all an outline of my day so here we go,
The night before the wedding, h2b (now hubby!) went to his best man's and my mum, sister and nieces came round to mine. We all got our nails done which was lovely then my sister and nieces stayed round at mine. We woke up the next day around 7 and since my wedding wasn't until 2 o clock I thought I'd have ages and would be sitting around with nothing to do all morning. Well I have no idea where the time went but before I knew it, I was having my hair and make up done. I was so calm all morning, even the hairdresser said how calm I was. I wasn't nervous at all, the only time I got emotional was about half an hour before we had to leave because it all became real that the big day was finally here.
So we got me into my dress (it took 3 people to help me put it on because it was so big lol) then the cars arrived. My sister, nieces and grandma went to the church in a pink limo then me and my mum followed in a gorgeous vintage car. Again my dress was so big that I took up two seats and my mum had to sit in the front lol.
We got to the church and I think I may have blink and missed it lol the service went so fast! I enjoyed every second of it though. Walking down the aisle with my mum was so special and hubby kept looking forwards until I was stood next to him which I thought was lovely. The whole service was wonderful then we went outside and had all our photos. As everyone made their way to the reception venue, hubby and I went to a local nature reserve with the photographer to have photos just the two of us.
The reception venue were fantastic. The room looked stunning and the wedding breakfast was delicious and actually nice size portions not tiny posh portions lol. The speeches were great, my mum and hubby did lovely speeches and the best man's was hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing. The rest of the evening went so fast as well, but everything went to plan and I enjoyed every moment of it. I thought we would feel awkward doing the first dance but we didn't and that also went really fast. I know everyone says it but its so true!
The whole day was exactly what I wanted and more! I loved every moment and all of our suppliers did a fantastic job. We've had a look at the photographer's photos and I couldn't be happier with them. We also went on our honeymoon to Spain two days after the wedding and that was also perfect. I didn't want to leave lol.
Thanks to this site and all the brides who have been so helpful during the planning! My advice to all of you who are still planning is don't worry about the weather as there's nothing you can do - I was stressing that it would rain but it stayed dry until the evening when we were inside so it didn't matter, be proud of your little details that personalise your wedding - the sweet buffet was worth all the effort we put in, and all my guests loved that I was wearing leopard print shoes rather than bridal shoes. Lastly, everyone says it but the day does go so fast so just enjoy yourselves and try to take it all in :)

Thanks everyone :) I haven't got any photos on my iPad yet. I've seen the photographers photos online but I can't take them off the website so ill have to wait until I get my disc from him
