What do you think he would do?

Inspired by DTTB for those of us who would not touch that show with a bargeole through fear of what they would do, what do you think yours would do if they were let lose to do just exactly what *they* wanted. And, that's where I stray away from DTTB, because this is more, if they were in our shoes, how do you think they'd plan it all out? What theme would they go for?

Ho wmany of you think you would end up wed in their favourite footballl club, or down the local pub?!

We'd do it the cheapest way, in his hometown, everyone in jeans, lots of dancing, plenty of gatecrashers, and maybe a salad at someone's house as a reception. Erm... We'll probably have a blessing there anyway, but only as long as I have the day that is in my head first haha!

I'm in two minds to what H2B would do if it was all down to him I'm thinking I could be quite shocked and he could do it all and it would be perfect but then another side of me thinks well I reckon he will make just an ok job of doing it but only thinking really of himself!!!

I think I actually trust H2b to get me my church and a similar reception venue if nit the same one as he and I totally agreed on these things plus he was more fussy with the reception venue that me and we have somewhere much nicer than what I was originally going to settle know.

However, he would have an open bar which for me is a big no no! He got more carried away with the cake than me but details wohkd be questionable as I don't know if he'd get the flowers I want but he does have good taste with the table center's. Hmmmm, I don't he'd do too badly actually. He's so disorganized though so not sure how he'd get on arranging it all lol xxx

We planned our whole wedding together and had very similar ideas - so I know for a fact the wedding would've been very similar to what we actually had, and would've been planned perfectly.

Very traditional, he seems to have been planning this all in his head for ages - it was me who suggested getting hitched in town hall then having a massive pi$$ up after. We are going with his idea lol, though he is now whinging about the cost :-)

Actually, thinking about it when we first got engaged he wanted to hire out this collection of big converted barns round this farm with a lake and have a big BBQ and hog roast and get local bands (we go gigging quite a bit and know quite a few who'd be willing to do it)....

It sounded fantastic and if money were no object, I'd have gone for it... It sounds like a cheaper option but when we priced it up, it really wasn't.

That said, he loves both of our venues (as much as me, which is saying something!) so maybe it wouldn't be too far different from the day were having

    Xx

I know my H2B doesn't get excited by flowers and pretty venues for pretty photos etc. He has said he genuinely doesn't mind what colour scheme. He does however have a big interest in saving as much money as he can.

That said, he seems to be really understanding that I do care about that stuff and he has said to me that he wants to make it the best day of my life.

So if he had the control, I think he'd do his best to give me what I want, but 90% of the wedding would probably come from eBay!! Lol

If it was left to my fiancé, we would be getting married at the Amex Stadium, which is home to Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. He has admitted that were we on DTTB this is where he would book, but made sure he added, "I'd book the platinum plus package though, so it would be a classy affair!"

The colours would be Brighton's colours (blue and white), of that I have no doubt, and he even joked he'd wear a Brighton shirt under his suit.

This is why we would never be on DTTB!

From our planning so far I think nothing would be that far from what it is now. Think the extra budget would be brilliant though and he would probably spend it on the grander things we have had to cut out.
He'd probably invite some people I wouldn't want there though that'd probably be the worst thing he could do.
