I have no ideas on what sort of centre pieces Im going to go for, We have 5 or 6 tables

Colour scheme is either black, purple and silver or black, purple and gold.

what about something similar to these...stacked in different heights for max impact, you can even use black glass nuggets for at the bottom of the glasses, then your purple flowers then sit them on a mirror in the centre of your table, with some silver beads or table crystals scattered around the mirror?. I think you can even get silver coloured floating candles.

i have popped some links on ur wall, but literallyi just looked on the bay...there are loads of bits on there!
failing that....the taller glasses you can get from the florists at a hire charge. but may work out more expensive then buying them...
other sized glasses just get from supermarkets etc...the glass nuggets, i know you can get from garden centres, and wil -co
but i would firstly suggest the bay...just type in wedding vases, black glass nuggets, artificial purple flowers...(get the stems so you can break them up) silver scatter crystals, and mirror plates, floating candles.

perhaps look on ebay and type in purple/silver/black wedding centre pieces.

perhaps a fishbowl with floating candles in... or a vase with feathers in... candles... lava lamps lol

dont know where lava lamps came from but hey...

erm or little candy bowls filled with candy in purple/silver/black wrapping? x x x
