I love the few Ive seen, but mainly to see how people decorate and get ideas. Im not usually one for watching people sometimes make dramas out of themselves and one or two of the shows I have caught have been frightening in their personal attitudes, but I have to admit, it does make me laugh, and almost cry along with them!

Have you seen Bride's War (i think it's called)? It's brilliant! They get 2 brides, completely different wedding ideas, one off the radar the other classical, and tell them, they have to negotiate and have the same things if they want to get married (but it's a joint married, same day, venue, ect). So last week i watched a lady who was having a sci fi theme, designed her own dress (looked all pointy like Lady GaGa), was having her father dressed as C3PO and bridesmaids as aliens, and arrive by segway! She went against a snobby lady having a poker theme, arriving by helicopter ect and they had to agree on one of the other. The arguments was brilliant. In the end, they went with snobby ladies dress, but with space decor, and snobby ladies bridesmaids, but arrived by segway. xx

I like this series, but prefer the US version that's on. I find the UK version all the brides are really bitchy about each other, but the US one they compliment each other a lot more, which is what you want to hear about your wedding. not sure how much I'd want to be on Bride Wars, I can't imagine having a joint wedding at all!
A new one is on at the mo. The format has changed slightly and in my opinion has made it a little bitchier. But I do like the last part where they say to the brides why they gave the score they did.
Don't tell the bride starts this week I think :)

I've seen Brides Wars.... it's just cringeworthy and the mix up often ends in a horrendous looking disaster of chic!
I love all these wedding shows too... am sure ill hate them as soon as I get married though!
And we lived happily ever after!

oh exciting, the new series is prob the one they filmed in may last year, I find the us ones very bitchy too, but i like that the uk ones seem to be more quirky while usa is very samey.

I actually really didn't like the four weddings concept. It didn't seem right to mark one wedding against another. Every wedding is unique and what that couple wants. Plus some brides are on a shoe string where others have a comfortable budget, so it was totally unfair to judge things like venue and food when some couples might have been limited. I just felt very uncomfortable with the idea of marking weddings, which are such a personal thing, out of 10. I can cope just about with Don't Tell The Bride, because as we've discussed before, a couple can play the producers at their own game, and they have probably had lots of discussions before the filming. Bride Wars sounds awful,; the idea that you have to have what someone else wants rather than what you want for what is supposed to be your day, I couldn't swallow that. I'd rather do it on a shoestring.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

I didn't enjoy four weddings personally, I think a lot of the brides were very conniving with their scoring,so a lot of the time u could easily guess who was going to win....
My personal favourite just for ridiculousness factor was bridalplasty .... The American show with lots of brides competing for plastic surgery each week and one got voted out each week...a joke of a show!lol
Velcro...my wedding day twinny! The Two Kel's!
Got engaged 14/10/12 in Central Park NYC!
Became Mrs Macdonald 13th September 2014

i'm addicted to 4 weddings - however, i'm now paranoid that people will say the similar things at my wedding now though!
Lana2BMrs Hands we can't afford honeymoon either so we are asking for travel agent vouchers for wedding presents and then deciding on a destination x
