OH my days Duxford is perfect are the only words i think i can muster! I almost cried when we walked in. The lovely woman showed us around all the places we could have the ceremony but we decided that the conference centre would be perfect as we can ask the registrar to preform the ceremony under the wings of one of the planes in there. then she showed us around the british aerospace exhibit and we decided that beautiful though the concorde was it felt a little enclosed to have the tables underneath it.

so she took us to the american air museum on the same premises and it is exactly what i dreamt it would be! this is where we would have the dj and dance floor oh and that is the wing of a b52 bomber superfortress and it's totally HUGE the pic doesnt do it justice for how big this thing is.

When we sat down and spoke about costs she said she would go to the events manager and speak to them as we are having it for the entire day and having their caterers etc she will try and knock a few thousand off. But due to the fact that 90% of the planes at Duxford are privately owned she will have to get a list of the ones we cant take official pictures of. we can take them with a camera ourselves, but it's something to do with profits etc. i am soooooo excited!!!
