Ok hes 10 but he asked me at weekend "Can I ask Rebecca to promise to be my wife when shes a grown up" Wasnt sure how to respond, and maybe I shouldnt have giggled but he frowned at me for not taking him seriously! Anyway hes wrote out his Valentines card for her and made her a red rose out of fimo clay, with a big red fimo heart background and stuck a fridge magnet in the back before he baked it. It turned out lovely.....so Im sure she will say yes!
Maybe Steve could take a few lessons in romance from our son!
Ohhh by the way CONGRATULATIONS to any new ukb's who got engaged today...not sure if I might see Rebecca on here soon! xxx

Thats soooooooooooooooooooo cute!! He's a real little gentleman, you've done very well with him Dee. Most kids that age would be too embarrassed to give anyone a card but your little man has took the time to make a magnet!! I am a v proud mum! We've been thru so much together. I nearly lost him twice as a child through major illness and a rare condition he had. Hes perfectly fine now. He also took his grandads death really hard as they were inseperable. His teachers say hes always polite, works hard and is everyones friend. Hes my mums biggest helper while shes waiting for a knee op. He wants to be a paramedic, as he wants to help people. He amazes me all the time! xx

Well hes just got home and I quizzed him straight away!! He had 3 valentines cards, 1 off Rebecca and 2 anonymous so not sure if theres going to be some conflict there!
He asked her while they were eating their packed lunch. She said YES! However apparently only if she has new shoes, a long veil to walk down the alley (aisle) with, and a white horse! lol (love it, a demanding b2b already)
They do agree tho that for a honeymoon they want to go to Alton Towers! xx
