Hello, I'm getting married in 2016 and my Fiancee and I have started to book things and pay deposits so I thought we had better look into getting some wedding insurance. I'd like to know which company people have gone with and who you would suggest. Thanks

I'm also getting married in 2016 - you can only take it out max of 2 years in advance. I've gone with Deb enhams and bought the 'gold' package - cost me £57 xx

Better to go with a well known company but make sure you look at the levels of cover to make sure you're covered for everything you need x

We went with w3dding pl4n online company think it cost £44.95
Just have a look at the levels of cover each level provides and go with what you need for your day.

Life hasnt been easy but we have each other :)
We went with Debenh@ms silver wedding insurance for £39. Really good coverage for the stuff we wanted and we got a £10 gift voucher too.
Like Elizabeth said, make sure you have a look at what level of insurance you need as I was going to go for Gold till OH said "Look, we don't need that, or that, or that"

Im in the same situation as this now. I didnt know what to do about insurance. I was going to look at names i know of like debenh@ms. I think i would struggle to trust an insurer i randomly found online

Thank you for your comments. A friend went with E & L because they were the cheapest that came up in the search engine but I've never heard of them so was weary of going with one I hadn't heard of. Debenhams or John Lewis seem the best choices. There is also one called event wedding insurance but not heard of them either.

I always go by this rule that if its only a couple of pounds more for the well known company it might well be money well spent
