I'm really, really stuck on how to have my hair for the wedding.
My hair dresser is our friend, and I've had one hair trial so far, and I hated it.
I want to feel really pretty and I didn't.
I hadn't taken my fascinator or veil with me, whereas I will for the next one.
But I'm not sure if to have it up, half up or down!
Really stumped.

I was the same but i just Google Imaged some ideas by just typing in wedding hair syles and there really is hundreds to look at . It also saves you spending a lot of money on expensive magazines . There is also a site ( sorry i cant remember the name of it ) where you can upload a photo of yourself and try on diffrent hair styles - its really good fun .

I think half up would be nice, as it would be off your face and then your fascinator would stand out more and then you veil could sit from where your up is pinned back.

it was half up and half down, maybe it would have looked better with viel/tiara, but when I got home and looked at pics I just looked drab and horrible

I have done that - i hope i have done it right ! You can also play about with your make up or try on a modle diffrent shades etc .

I hated my hair after my first trial and that is quite common! I have hair your length and I had a mobile come to my house and did me some styles, she tried me a scruffy ballerina side bun which was lovely but wasn't quite right, now i'm going for quite a high top and loose curls pinned up at the back but hanging pretty. Going to put some hair jewels in it for added sparkle. Found my hair do in one of the small sized wedding mags but there's tons online.
