I want real classic rock music at our wedding, I'm thinkin Led Zep, Metallica, Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Clash, etc real rock music, no cr*ppy abba, no techno, no rap, no rubbish! Anyone recommend? x

we want the same, but I'm waiting for my neighbour to get back off holiday as she had her own band and she has "contacts" and said one of her friends does half metal, half wedding cheese - which I think would be better for is as not all our guests would appreciate metal all night! As far as finding someone myself goes, I guess I'd just have to contact all the local DJ's as see if they could do it. The DJ h2b's brother had for his wedding was asked if he had any metallica, and he said only 1 song, and he doesn't usally play it, but he would, just the one, just for us - turns out it was the grooms song he's chosen to be played at his funeral when he dies lol - he still enjoyed it though!

I'm having exactly that.
A real rock DJ and a proper rock and metal band - we do not want it any other way - its gonna be louuuuuuuud!!!
The DJ knows that i dont want any dance, cheese or techno and with the wedding being attended by a load of bikers - he'll be strung up if he so much as sniffs int he direction of the birdie dance......

we are having a band, but they are indie pop & i love them & we have decided we are going to have some rock songs when the kids are there but when they have gone its gonna be pure rock :)
