Well, I have to say, I love my mam...yesterday she told me that her and my dad have started to put £100 a week away from now until the wedding to help us out, before adding there's more money in the bank should we need it!
Then today I've been treated to my lunch out, two new dresses for my holidays and a promise that in a few weeks I can have a consultation at the Clinique make up counter and some new make up from them...awwwww...she's the best.xx

Mums are the best! Mine is insisting on putting money away to buy my dress even though she has very little spare cash. She said 'I promise you, I'll get more pleasure out of buying it for you than you will wearing it!'

Ah your Mam sounds just like mine. Couldn't live without her and that's a lovely thing their both doing £100 per wk will help you out loads. Things like this can bring Mother and Daughter closer together which is lovely if you haven't been in the past. Enjoy it x x

Ahhhh all of you ladies are lovely! Yes I think we have been closer the last few months, we've had a fair few rocky patches & times where she really seemed uninterested in anything to do with the wedding, which she admitted yesterday was because she thought it wouldn't go ahead when we booked it 3 years ago...
So it's lovely that she is sharing my enthusiasm for everything now, even drives me when I'm feeling deflated!
Raggedyann..we all use the term mam in the north east, I love it.x
