Decided to pop out this morning as its a lovely warm day and went to a local charity shop beginning with B, I walked out with a full tea set consisting of 23 teacups, 23 saucers, 23 side plates, 2 milk jugs, 1 sugar bowl and a tea pot for £12.99 couldnt believe it what a find and I also bought a set of 3 blue and gold gilt teacups, 3 saucers, 3 side plates and 3 big plates for £3.99 the side plates and big plates will be made into 3 x 2 tier cup cake stands, I also got 6 rose pattern teacups, 6 saucers and 6 side plates for £2.99, a teapot for £2 and a rose sugar bowl for £1.49 and won £20 on a scratch card which paid for the majority of it so all in all its cost me £23.46 but if i take my winning scratch card off its cost me £4.46 :) just had to share as if you want this sort of thing for your weddings charity shops are def the way to go rather then hiring buying from other shops xx

Thanks Bobski Ive got loads more just need to take some more pics its great for allsorts including sweet jars etc even saw wedding dress in a few ive been in too and managed to get a necklace earring and bracelet set for £2.50 x

Fab find, I used to regularly look in charity shops when I was trying to find bowls for centre pieces as wanted green glass.

Thank you Ladies the best thing is its costing me less to buy then hire the money goes to a good cause and also if I sell on I get my money back so not really costing me anything in the long run. I will be posting more of my finds on here once I get the chance to get some pics will get some better pics of the crockery aswell when its not shoved in the box. I really encourage that people have a look in these shops as it is a great cause and can also save ££££sss xx

That is brilliant...i love charity shops and both my daughters have developed a love of them...we love going to have a look around them and getting our bargains from books to clothes to things for the house.

Kim I love going for a nosey hun Im quiet close to the town centre infact Im walking distance and theres about 8 close knit together I have found others not far from me too which I find better then town as they are less popular so better bargains x

I LOVE Charity Shops too! I have bought my tea set off the bay of e as I couldn't find any in charity shops near me.

I have got a lot of jewelry for my bouquet from Charity Shops though!

Sarah the one I got my big set from was just down the road in an estate so its not used as much as other charity shops but im going back down tomorrow to see what else they have for me lol I need old spoons so hoping they may have some, didnt think to look for the brooches in there though what a great idea thanks for heads up hun xx
