I was originally decided on the Alfred Sung 6802, i fell in love with it wen i tried it on but i have found the maggie sottero Myra dress which looks beautiful, i have been in contact with the woman to get it made talking about fabrics and thing but now im worried that its going to be too different and wont like it.. Can anyone help.. let me know which one you would prefer..

Have you tried on the maggie dress?
They have a lot of similarities - but think youd need to try on the other one to make sure

I'm going to throw a right spanner in - I prefer the Maggie! The overlay is really feminine and you still have the ruching and detail on the hip which will dissolve any woman's hips whilst still being gorgeous - best thing to do is to find a shop with your size in to try!!

I like the Myra dress with the straps.

The model in the Alfred dress already has that overhang bit at the top under each arm (not keen on the overhang bit in any strapless dress and I'm sure I'd overhang a lot!).

Hence why I prefer Myra with straps! :-)

Besides with straps you can wear proper underwear to give you support and a good ole cleavage :-)

I prefer Myra, the shape is lovely and I like that the model shows that you can wear straps or not. It is all about how you feel in the dress though. I'd try and find somewhere that sells that dress and make a trip out to try it on to make yourself feel better about it! Good luck hun xx

Hello ladies, I am new to the forum. I am getting married next May. I have also been looking at Milly Bridal and was going to see about ordering my dress today. BUT.. something didn't seem right when looking at the photo so I have backed out. I have noticed with Mrs Miller 2B's photo of the myra dress also has the same issue. It looks like the back of the dress is a different dress because the dress has straps which cannot be seen from the back. Also, as you can see in the link below, the straps are described as spaghetti straps and you can see they are thicker than that. On mine the back is described as a zipper when you can see that it is a corset style fastening. All of the above combined with some of the bad reviews I read it has put me off. The good reviews that I have read I suspect some are MillyBriday posting phony reviews randomly on review sites. It is a shame, the price and the dress in the photo I love. I haven't found anything quite like it anywhere else and all bridal shops here seem to have nothing but strapless dresses!

    LINK REMOVED

I can also see the back of the dress and on this site the material is satin rather than Taffeta. Time to do some research on LINK REMOVED then!
