I got married two weeks ago and just returned from a lovely honeymoon in New York
Just wanted to share my day with you all, I've loved using this site and great to get other brides opinions and help on things that other people just don't understand!
I stayed at the hotel the night before my wedding- I hardly slept but was nice just to relax! The morning of my wedding went very smoothly- my hairdressers turned up on time and so did my make up lady ( in a previous post I was worried as my make up lady had a boob job two days before my wedding) but when she turned up she was fine- not grumpy and got us all done! The morning went so quickly- next thing I knew it was time to get into my dress- I felt like a princess and got very emotional when my dad turned up at my room to collect me.
By the time I had taken the short walk to the ceremony room and could hear the violinist play canon in d I was a ball of nerves! My husband turned to look at me and I melted lol! Apart from messing up the vows a little (due to nerves) everything else went well.
The Wedding breakfast was lovely and the evening buffet was great- The sweet shop went down well with the adults as well as the kids (we made it ourselves and came to £50- really worth doing)
Our first dance was to Ellie Goulding-how long will I love you and then at new year they played a beautiful version of Auld Land Sang. Everything was just perfect and I am sad its all over...... now to get on with being a wife

Sounds Amazing CarolineW10 All the build up to the wedding and then your perfect wedding day then it's over so quickly you been on your honeymoon dies it make you miss wedding planning and wanting to do it again by renewing your vows??
