I know it may go in the next 10 days but it is one of those painful ones that stick around. My chin is prone to spots and I have had a massive outbreak recently and most are fading (and would be invisible with make up) but this one stubborn one has been around for a good couple of weeks already and will not shift! I have tried face masks, no make up, drinking loads of water, supplements (admitedly all of these could have brought out more spots), I have tried toothpaste and tee tree oil/witch hazel stuff but nothing is shifting the bad boy. Any advice for trying to get rid of it so that it is easier to cover up would be really welcome.

    thanks

    Witch hazel?

I usually get spots just before something iv been looking forward to.
    Must be stress related lol.

Just keep trying methods of.getting rid (dont pick) and you should be fine.

I'm sure it will clear up before your big day if it is already scabbed over,I agree with the girls about sudocrem though. If you do happen to get anymore try not to mess with it, my mum swears by putting a small amount of hot water on a cotton pad and holding it against the spot, I don't know what this does but she's a beautician and says it helps reduce the spot! Try not to do face masks and steam treatment too close to your wedding day though, as this brings out the toxins and spots.I'm sure you will look gorgeous on your wedding day though so don't worry about it! x

Yeah, I think sudocrem works as one of the best, I tried all spot remedies and nothing worked, someone recommended sudocrem and now I don't use anything else, it's cheaper as well, and lasts longer. xx

Steam your face twice a day and use a none oily moisturiser after!

Also use special facial wash twice a day!

at night rub a small ammount of sudocrem on and leave it till the morning

should go down in a day or 2 and keep steaming your face to help keep the nastys away

Hey hun!Sorry for those eating at the mo! Haha! I get big cyst like spots under the skin which are HUGE!! Then when they eventually form a top they are big pussy weepy messy horrible things (usually coz I have popped it) that then scar my skin for about 2 weeks then it dissappears and the lump usually goes! Usually cycle related or if I eat alot of junk or have stress! I have found that the one I had come up on Friday I really resisted the urge to squeeze poke prod etc and just washed my face twice a day with a gentle baby soap then moisturised as usual it has gone down! I get married on Saturday so thought last thing I need is a big weepy horrid thing to try and cover with make up! So generally wash face twice a day, no picking prodding, wash your hands before touching your face altho try not to touch it anyway! Let your skin breathe by avoiding makeup and keep with the water to flush your system! Fingers crossed for you xxxx

Defo agree with the cotton pad and hot water trick, then bonjela or alcohol gel during the day and sudocrem at night. Be careful to only cover the spot though as you don't want to "burn" the skin around it.

I was about to suggest toothpaste- that's great for tackling the spots that refuse to come to a head. It might leave a blemish if its a big one, but nothing a little make-up can't handle.

And the witchhazel spot stick by Witch- I swear by it.

I'd suggest varying what you use from time to time, as your skin can get used to it and get creative.

Sudocream, lavender and teatree oil! I wack the lot on that situation!!

Also my friend who is make up artist assured me that if I did have one on the day we could dot a bit of brown eyeliner on it and make it look like a beauty spot instead.

Just read in a popular weekly puzzle mag Take a... that if you crush a 75mg aspirin with a little water to make a paste, apply to spot and wash off after 2 minutes it helps shrink a spot. It says to repeat after 4 hours!!

well the big one went! now i have loads of little annoying ones! i am hoping it is all because of stress and tiredness...have a lot on (in addition to the wedding)...work finished yesterday and always get ill when term ends, i am also furiously trying to finish another 11000 word MA essay so I can go home (where I am getting married I call home) without having to do it (it is actually due two days after the wedding) and I also had a really awful incident at work so I am putting it down to all of this, that or God is trying to test me!!
