I was just wondering if I'm the only one who feels sick when I think of my wedding, which is a year away...I'm not sure if it's down to nerves (already) or stress or what....
Is it just me? It seems like a strange feeling to have, I am mega excited but when I sit and think about it I get a sick sinking feeling n occasionally I have a rash thought that it might not happen (no reason for this to be the case at all) maybe its just as everything is only half paid so far I don't know...it doesn't feel real if you know what I mean??
Am I going mad? Xxxx

No you are not going mad hun! I feel the same sometimes when I think about our wedding. I am worried mainly about fainting! I have a habit of fainting at weddings, hospitals and the sight of blood. Also worry that we are not going to have something major done in time or forgotton completely! Though this part does get easier the more things that get ticked off the list. I think that most of the brides on here at some point have said something like....it now feels real!!! Whether thats after buying their dress or paying off wedding suppliers. In time as you get further along it will start to feel more real and hopefully as you begin to organise, pay and get further on your fears may start to settle. xxx

Thanks Stevie_dee I'm so pleased I'm not the only one!
I have my dress and most of the suppliers are paid it's just the venue and bridesmaids dresses left to pay for really, I think it's because when I look at my expenses sheet the figure left on the venue scares me!!
Although we are on target for paying off I think I won't rest easy until it's out of the way.
We went to a wedding showcase and I was stood in the ceremony room and I just thought...'oh my god...this is going to be full of people...all looking at us! Argghhhhh!". Hahaha!
Because like you, I faint in crowds/hot places but luckily not in hospitals or around blood, coz that's my job...haha.xx

Lol, I regularly feel sick thinking about our wedding because we still have so much to arrange and pay for - and we're only a few weeks away from ours now!! But it's the wedding itself that makes me worry, not marrying Steve, so I know it's just nerves and stress and not a worry about the commitment :) Try not to stress too much - you still have plenty of time to get everything organised and relax x
Now, finally, Mrs Riley
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world
I have the greatest husband!

It's completely normal hun. When I first went to my hotel to get a wedding brochure I remember half thinking it wouldnt happen. Like you said there is no reason to feel like that, its just nerves. When we're all married we will all remember the nerves etc. Just enjoy planning and saving :D xx

Definately a normal feeling as far as im concerned too. My heart starts to run a little faster each time I see on ukbride how many months I have left. : ) I dont like to be the centre of attention either so the thought of having to walk down the aisle and have everyones eyes on me makes me go all weak at the knees. But on the good side enjoy the planning and the buying of more bits for my bottom drawer. We are all in the same boat just at different stages, so can sympathise with each other. Plus I know that if i get really stressed or confused and feel like pulling my hair out I can come on here and almost always there is someone who can set my mind at rest. Good old Ukbride. : ) Relax and enjoy your planning time. : )
