I've 16 weeks until the big day and i'm feeling extremely relaxed, which is great, don't get me wrong i'd hate to be flapping about everything!!

However, i keep catching myself think, i hope i'm not too relaxed and forget something! eek!

Has anyone got any tips into what i should be doing/ have done by now?! lol i seem to be drawing a blank thinking that everything is done, but then get a bit :-/ thinking that i've forgot something!!

I'm the same, with just over 12 weeks to go. I think the only thing I haven't really done anything on yet is flowers. I'm still waiting on my MOH to make three bridesmaids dresses though.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Hi Ocean I'm so jealous. I've been a real stresshead (liken you wouldn't believe!!) and have fought this wedding from the start (I'm 44, been there, done that and didn't want a wedding but H2B hasn't been hitched before and wanted all the trimmings). I broke down to a work colleague a few weeks ago and she has been in similar circumstances. Her advice was great and made all the difference, so now with weeks to go I'm finally getting excited and relatively chilled!!

Thanks Lala, i'll take a look at that check list :D

Lindsay, my mum and mil keeps asking me the same "are you sure everything is done" etc etc and yes for what i can think about everything is booked and sorted. i'm sure the next few weeks things will start to fit into place. Such as planning meetings with venues, florist, photographer, cake baker etc etc etc but i'm not worried ill cross that bridge when it comes to it! he he he xxx

Elinor, I do hope that i will enjoy the build up, i don't think i could cope if things started to fall apart now at the final hurdle so to speak xx Like you the only person ive not really spoken to much is the florist although i'm going to be ringing them today to book an appointment to discuss things further :D Good luck on your bridesmaids dresses!!

Rachel, sounds like you've had a mare of a time lately xx I hope things settle down enough for you to enjoy the big day so that you and your h2b can have a day to remember xxx

I was relaxed at that stage too. If you're organised and have your checklist all will be fine xx

I wouldn't say I feel relaxed about it all, but I do sometimes get an anxious feeling that I'm going to forget something, and that it be something really simple but really important to the wedding . I'm making a checklist tonight of everything else I need to do and going to tick them off one by one once done x
