    That the buttonholes were supposed to match the colour(s) or the bride's bouquet. Just wondering who else didn't know this, and whether or not you're matching them if you did?
    I think I'm having pink and Ivory silk flowers, and the men can wear ivory buttonholes.

    I knew there were supposed to be some sort of theme to the flowers.

    I don't think the mums corsages will match ours as I want them to complement their outfits.

    mine match my burgundy and ivory bouquets but that was because i wanted to follow through with the colour scheme, but i didnt know that they were supposed to match. x

    I've matched them just so they fit in but if you wanted you could use a different variety of flower than the bridal bouquet or grooms button but in the same colour, like carnations. x

    My buttonholes won't match my colours as we are having thistles as buttonholes because the guys are all wearing kilts so it's something a wee bit different and our florist is doing a fantastic job with them she is adding feathers etc to make them look really nice and to stand out xx
