I'm really struggling here ladies, I've been trying on and off for the pat 3 months to find some shoes for the wedding with absolutely no success. I wear a size 9 or 9and a half, I'm 5 foot 11 so if I wear anything with more than a 2 inch heel I'll be towering over my lovely h2b, I hate pointed toed shoes (my feet are big enough as it is, in pointed toed shoes i look like I have clown feet) and I won't wear a peep toe or strappy sandals, I want a pale coloured shoe (white, ivory, nude any of those will do) with a low heel and a closed round toe! Is that too much to ask? But no, I can't find any, nothing, I've managed to get through 34 pages of results on a web search with no luck and I'm running out of patience. If anyone sees anything like what I'm after let me know I really am at my wits end now

have you tried elegant steps or vivaladiva? Both you can search by size and go up to an 11 - elegant steps specialise in wedding and party shoes, vivaladiva is more mainstream but they have some loved hush puppies in blue which could be your something blue!

Tried elegant steps, they're all too high, too pointy or peep toed. I know I'm being overly fussy but I really just want the right pair of shoes. thanks for the suggestion though

Ok, I just had a look and all of these are on the elegant steps website, with availability in 9 or 10, and the flat even has a EEE fitting - max heel height is just over 2 inches - see if these inspire you? I've put the name of the shoes in the titles in case you like any (p.s. I don't work for Elegant Steps btw!! Just I got my wedding shoes from there so I'm kinda a fan!)

Ooh just had a thought! My back up shoes for late night dancing are by irregular choice, they only have a 1 inch heel and are silver with flowers! If you like them they're 65 in Schuh but if you're lucky you can snap them up like me off the bay for 26!

Just a little update, I've won on the bay the pair that kimberlee alerted me to! Just got to wait for them to arrive and hope they are right for me, if not its back to the frantic shopping madness!

So glad to see someone else is having the same problem! I have wide feet and hate pointed and peep toe shoes as me toes get too squashed and feet look too big.

My shoes from the bay have arrived, the fitting is a bit wide and the heel is a little higher than I wanted but for £16 I'm not going to complain, especially since I'll only wear them for one day and then either donate them or sell them on. Thanks again Kimberlee, you are my star of the day!
