and i just wanted to check what colours are ok to wear, obviously not white! but i have also heard that guests shouldnt wear red as it steals attention from the bride and shouldnt wear black as it's a funeral colour, honestly i'm running out of colours here guys! thanks x

As long as it's not white I wouldn't worry too much about what colour you wear. I'd go with something quite bright and "happy" for a wedding, but really it doesn't matter too much!

if you want the black dress just team it with some brightly coloured accessories, like a bright belt, hat, heels and clutch bag

White is a definite no no! but a dress with some white in it is ok. I once wore a dress that was white with lots of red and burgundy spots on it.

I would only steer away from white. Black is ok as long as you brighten it up some how xx

thank you :) not at all it's from b00h00, i dont usually order online but my sister (who has very difficult sizings as she is a very slim girl but is almost 6 foot) ordered a playsuit from there and it was great quality and she had no problem with the size x

I wear anything but full white or black. I've worn a white dress with yellow flower pattern and a red dress before now. The last wedding I attended as a guest I wore a cadbury purple number.

I thought it went without saying that wearing white is a massive NO NO as a guest at a wedding.

White with other colours is fine I think - well I hope so, because that's what I wore to a friends wedding recently.

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan
