I hope people dont take this the wrong way but i have seen many threads on here moaning about inlaws to be etc and I think its such a shame that many people dont like/get on with their in laws. My in laws to be are absoloutly brilliant, i couldnt wish to join a nicer family. They are completely different to my family which worried me at first, we have completely different views about life, and different upbringings etc but they are amazing, and i love them dearly. They support me in every desicion i make.
I am just so lucky :)
Does anyone else have amazing in-laws that they wouldnt change for the world?

That's nice that you have such lovely in-laws :) I wish I had a good relationship with my in-laws-to-be but sadly not lol. But my h2b and my family get on really well so my h2b has that :)

I think I have a better relationship with my H2B's parents and family than my own. Since I moved away from home my family rarely speak to me and aren't interested in the wedding at all. But my IL2B have been amazing and are contributing so much to the wedding I couldn't be more grateful! :)

i did have a fab relationship with mine until last year ( details on my thread )
It is a shame, I'd love to have what you have but oh well I've got my family and my h2b so what more do I need :) I'm happy that my h2b gets on with my family so well and that's enough for me lol

I'm so lucky too. My PIL are the best people in the world, although my FIL2B isn't very well. I'm just keeping everything crossed that he'll still be around for the wedding. I wish my parents could be as supportive as they are, but mine are slowly coming around.

I have the best mil in the world. She's loveable, caring, funny, always there for you with an ear, gives great advice and is all over a wise and gentle person. She is loved by everyone and worshipped by her children. Her 3 daughters are also lovely - ofc they have traits I don't always agree with (we used to live together) but nothing major. Fil is a different story but this has nothing to do with me - his new wife is an awful woman and he's not allowed to have contact with his family so he does this secretly but only occassionally.
H2bs aunts and uncles are also just great. All around loveable people who are great fun to be around. Both sets of grandparents are lovely too but one especially - I love them dearly. Dearly. We even named our son after this grandad. They are mils parents - family gatherings are just fantastic. I cannot wait for the wedding for everyone to meet because my own family is great too!

i get on with my in laws its just my h2b mum shes just thinks my wedding is her wedding and is blind when it comes to most things like my h2b younger brother is always gettin in trouble wwith the police yet she thinks hes done nothing wrong makes me wanna scream and say wake up!!! lol apart from that shes lovely

I get on with my in-laws 2b, but I do think that they think their son could have done a lot better, the funny thing is I agree with them, but he picked me and he's the best so i'm the lucky 1 x

My Family in Law to be are pretty awesome, some of them even tried to prompt my OH to propose, although this is mainly his brother's and sisters, i don't really know his parents that well cos they live so far away so we've met 2/3 times tops xx

Got to admit my fil/mil2b are fantastic. Would do anything for anyone and they've welcomed me with open arms. They've accepted my lad as another grandson and think the world of him. I'm trying to include them in as much as possible. My issue is with sil2b. She takes everyone for granted and thinks the workd relolves around her. She treats her parents like they're her slaves and at a time of life they should be easing up and enjoying things, they're always looking after her kids and running around after her because all her husband does is sit in the pub. mil gave us some money towards the wedding which was wonderful of her as they've had a few problems. As a thank you we're paying for both parents to staying the hotel the night of the wedding so we can all have breakfast together the next morning with all the out of town guests. bil2b as I said is always drinking so for one night she asked if he'd drive them so she could have a drink at her own brothers wedding. No was the answer. no to a taxi as well. So she said they'd stay over. He said no to that as they can't afford it. So mil2b said she's pay for their room, then said it's out of the money she gave us for the wedding! h2b is fuming. it's for their very selfish reasons i've not asked her to be bridesmaid and that we're not having a free bar lol x

I get on really well with my mil2b and fil2b. She is making our wedding invites, rsvps, box envelopes and the ladies favour boxes. I couldn't ask for better family. They are both included in everything that we are doing im trying to include them as my bil2b and sil2b are getting married in a few months and non of us know what's going on and I'm a bridesmaid so I didn't want that to happen this time round as I think it's unfair on them.

Yes I have a fantastic MIL, she calls me up to see how I am and she is always there to help us out if we need it. She has taken on my two girls as if they are her own grandchildren and is always happy to have them around and now she really does have a grandson since the new addition to our little family. I feel very lucky indeed as from past experience I know it can be very different. xx
