Went to a friends wedding this weekend and it was beautiful but It just made me impatient for ours! Still 10 months to go and it feels like forever. Now most things are falling into place and I'm left with not a lot to do until nearer the time I'm getting frustrated. Anyone else feeling the same?.

I could've written that myself! We're at OHs brothers weekend on Sunday and I'm just gunna want it to be our wedding! I have almost nothing to do and everything's booked! we just need to pay for everything now :(

It goes quickly though honestly - I have been engaged with a date set for over 2 years and have seen countless people married before me and I really hated the wait- now I want time to speed up and slow down all at once haha.
I'm looking forward to the 1 year mark, I think then it will go quicker

I'm jealous of you all with 3 months or less to wait but can understand why you'd want it to slow down now.
The year mark came and although it went quickly for about a month after that it's slowed down now as I'm faced with a summer full of weddings to get impatient at!
aprilS61 - we are almost identical timing but you still have a week less than me haha. At least I know I'm not the only one.
I need to go buy my wedding dress or something!

I felt like that a lot, and still do even with less than three months, but honestly the time flies by. Now is definitely a good time to get your dress if you haven't done so already, and maybe make an early start on some other things like favours or anything that you are making. You'll feel better if you have something wedding related that you can do, and nearer the time you'll be glad you dealt with it early.

At least if you're going to some weddings, you can take note of what things you would do differently etc? ... I get impatient when I read the real weddings in the wedding magazines...but at the min I seem to blink and it's the 13th of the month again, I.e. Like it's this fri again, so will be under 3 months then, struggling to sleep sometimes as worrying that I'm forgetting something important x

We are going to OHs brothers wedding on Sunday so I'll be looking out for the timings of everything as we get married at the same time. It will be a good insight into our day so I'm excited for that but I'll certainly wish it was our wedding lol! X

im trying to count mine down in 5 days incriments, like yesterday was 410, now im waiting for 405 and then 400 then work my way down to a year.

I'm waiting for under 400 days now.... and then it will be waiting for the one year mark, I think then counting down the months will seem like it goes a lot quicker.
I think once we're in September as well it will go quicker as I work in a school and it always seems to be Christmas quite soon after September and then it will be the year of my wedding!
