So our big day was on Saturday and was just perfect!
Started the morning with the arrival of the bridesmaids, hairdressers, make up artist followed by the photographer. I was perfectly relaxed and we had a lot of fun getting ready. My hotel room was packed!
Left the hotel at 1:40 in the vintage VW beetle with my dad and arrived at the church at 2 minutes past 2. As I walked down the aisle, I didn't see anyone but Tom and didn't care about anything else. He looked so handsome and proud! Church service was just beautiful and was packed with our loved ones.
Left the church and went to lay flowers on Tom grandmas grave which was quite emotional. Got back in the beetle off to the reception in the village hall. Tom and the family did an amazing job with all the bunting and setting up. We all enjoyed afternoon tea, the tea warmed us all up!
Then the evening celebrations kicked off. Everyone loved our homemade photobooth and sweetie table. Everyone got a bit merry! Dj was brilliant and played to the crowd, and then out came the glow sticks, which went down amazingly! Everyone absolutely loved them and it looked like a 90's rave In the hall.
Was a perfect day, despite the fact that we spent so little money and did all the flowers ourselves. All the bunting was made by us, as were the I Do light up signs, table names etc. I also lasted the whole night despite being 29 weeks pregnant!
