A few people have had the idea of having a letter sent to their H2b from there favourite football team. How do you get in contact with the club?

find out their pr manager and write them a letter, if you can get their name even better as they are more likely to respond.

I wrote to my h2b's fav team. They had a 'special occasions' section via the Managers office. I got a signed letter from the manager wishing us both the best for our wedding, i'm going to get it framed and give it to my h2b on our wedding day

I have got a letter from Tottenham for my H2B...I just emailed in and a lady responded almost immediately. Sure enough about 3 days later an original signed letter came from the manager congratulating us. He is going to love it and it cost me nothing!

What a fantastic idea my OH would love this! I have just emailed Everton FC customer services, got an email straight back to say I need to apply in the same way as charity requests they have an online application system so have just send my request pleading my case on there! Fingers crossed!

We got married in September and I sent the request (via their website) in April/May time. You have to remember to bear in mind the end of the season etc. It's good to give them plenty of time. I got a reply within a couple of weeks and I got the certificate through about 2 weeks before we left for Vegas :)

the best thing to do AussieLinz is contact them directly and ask... i did that with OH's footi team... they didnt respond via their bookface page but found their direct customer services email and took it from there. xx

My other half is a true baggies supporter, I got him a stone on Baggies Brick Road for Christmas last year, and was wondering if this is something WBA do? As would love to give him something as an extra special surprise on our big day in May next year! Is there anything you would be able to send? I am aware that other people have written letters to other clubs along with details of their big day and a SAE for returns.

Oh wow I love this idea! My h2b (and children) are massive Chelsea fans. I think I will write to them, although how to tactfully say he'd like anything from anyone at the club except from the manager will be tricky. Love the ideas I pick up on this forum x

Just wanted to thank you for starting this thread. I would never have thought of this idea and yet I love it!! Chelsea FC has actually been a massive part of our life. Emailed them and was amazed to receive a letter from them today (dated wedding day) wishing us good luck and congratualtions and signed by team captain. Showed our son and he is almost wetting himself with excitement - think we will have son read it out during the speeches :-) It will make the day even more special.

I love this idea as my h2b and the inlaws are massive crystal palace fans, as I have banned everything else football related this could be the biggest surprise ever. Thanks ladies for the idea :) happy future mrs hulbert
