Just out of curiousity, wondered who else is having a Humanist Ceremony????

Im up in scotland so it is completely legal here and dont have to faff about with a registar or do the legal bit first

cant wait to make the ceremony my own and personalise it and have the music i want etc

:D celebrant will be meeting with us in august to discuss it :D xx

This is what we're going for also. Neither of us is religious so its perfect. My best mate had a humanist ceremony last year and it was beautiful. She also got me to do a reading so now its her turn to return the favour. lol.

thanks ill go searching for that thread lol

basically its a service that is conducted by a register of the humanist society of scotland/england who basically writes up your ceremony how u like it..to include any readings etc..very little restrictions and its personlised to how the bride and groom want it!!!

thou in england think you have to go do legal stuff before as its not a legalised ceremony whereas it is here ins cotland x
