We were at a family party at the weekend when my HTB's grandparents and aunt starting moaning that our venue is too far away. It's only a half hour drive from where we live. The wedding is a year away and they've already stressed me out about it. Just needed to have a moan on here really and get your comments

Ignore them- where would they like you to have it... their back garden? Half an hour is CLOSE for most weddings these days!!!

Jesus why do people have to start moaning about our wedding choices whatever they might be - I will never ever say anything negative no matter how small about someone else's wedding again!

There will always be the odd one or 2 that complain about your venue.
Look at it like this - if they're worth worrying about then they'll be there on the day. Do what suits you and if it's 'too far' for your grandparents then it's their blummin loss!

    Gotta love the whinging stickybeaks!!

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

dont worry, some people are not happy unless they are moaning about something! my mum has complained because most of the people on my side of the family will have to travel 70 miles to the wedding. She reckons most might not come, and those that do wont stay very long. C'est la vie. They will be the ones missing out, not me! More cake for everyone else!

We are getting married five hours drive away from home, so we are all going down a couple of days early and staying over. My brother is going to be driving 8 hours to get to the wedding.

We will all be staying is it will be like a little holiday for everyone. xx
