It's just begun for us really. We decided to change venues and we've just confirmed it with the deposit paid etc. I think the fun starts now. lol. How is yours coming along hun? xxx

we jst really started 2 x wel i have lol x we booked the church and started 2 make the invites x and got the venue 4 recption booked 2 x cant wait 4 the big day x people think im mad starting this early planning and booking things but i dunt x iv rather b prepared 4 it all and try and relax nearer the tym xx

I've been planning it in my head from the minute I met Neil, lol. Oh and you are never too early. Some venues are all booked up 4 years in advance so it's best to get in as soon as possible. xxx

got 15 wks left, all dresses here, invites ready to be sent out, cake boxes ready to be set up (they're flat packed), venue booked and deposit paid(they're doing catering and decorations), meeting with their wedding planners for 3rd september (i think!!!) hair and makeup trials next month, diet going good, final dress fitting end of next month, photographer paid off, transport booked, suits ordered, cake ordered. Think thats everything. I'm really orgainised and after the first venue went bankrupt I had to get things sorted.

I'm thinking of changing my date give myself extra time to save and arrange it all was hoping for april 2012 but venue alone is £4000 thats with awedding breakfast for 60 people and evening reception with food for 120 people, they've thrown in free dj, free suite for bride/groom, plus we get two free rooms to give to whoever we like. That's as far as i've gone with planning, will more than likely be getting dress from the bridal house, they've always got gorgeous dresses in windows and not too pricey website is www.bridalhouseleeds.co.uk. My parrtner not much help just says whatever isn't bothered, so told him not to complain on day if doesn't like anything lol xxx

hey wren i was advised to have a fitting 2 weeks before as with stress etc we may change shape you may want to ask about that, i know i have lost a little since last fitting mine is free of charge and all being well i take my dress home on 2nd sept

I picked my dress up and tried it on last week, then when I go for that "last fitting" they will keep it for all the alterations. I'll get it back 2 weeks before the wedding and try on before I leave the shop. This means that if any further alterations need doing, they will have a small amount of time to fix it. I was measured for the dress in January and havent put on that much weight, need to loose about half stone, and thats 6 mths of really bad stress for me. I am seriously watching my weight now and am going to the gym.

Our planning is basically done just have few more things to pay off and we are finished. we paid the hotel off which was the main thing we wanted to get done as obviously it was the most expensive. Just have to pay off the cars rest of the suits and the dj at the mo. Going to look at a photographer so he be getting paid on the day as well. x x x x

Ours is coming along nicely. We mainly have just have the money to pay out now lol. We need to order kilts for best man and pageboys and my dad. We have H2bs kilt as we bought his he wanted to keep his he said if i can buy a dress that i only get to wear once he wants to buy his kilt and he said he could wear that again lol. xx

We have the venue booked and paid for, invites done, got my dress and mens waistcoats. Dj and photographer booked and deposit paid. I have my shoes and hair pieces for flowergirls.
My flowers will be booked in december and most other things next year.

Does any one have a tree growning money and if they do can the send me a stem so i can plant it to pay for my wedding otherwise i wont be having one. talked about it and h2b said why start planning now when we have 33 months to go. AGGHH MEN. Dont understand how expencive these thing are, \i think he will get a shock if i take him to the place i want to hold the wedding and he sees how much it is goingt o cost.

Kimi that would be a good idea but at the mo i am the only one working and i dont get paid much but it is my dream job. Might have to do some overtime and use that money me thinks. Just moved house so i have loads of boxes so what i am planning on doing is buying something every month and putting it in there and i should get some stuff sorted i hope. Like if i see a nice tiara or if i find some nice little favours some thing small that he wont notice has gone from our usual budget.
