Sorry, but personally it would freak me out! Wearing mine under a high bun-like style with a tiara in front, see if I can get some pics! Found this one :

I really like the idea of having my veil over my face - might help hide the tears too :)
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

I didnt wear mine over face as I wanted to see clearly Pauls face when he saw me for the first time, also cause I had my hair in an up do and wore the veil under the bun and also cause I wear glasses and felt it would feel weird over my glasses. xx

I would freak if I had mine like that, it would irritate me, I'm just having mine draping down my back. xx

I'd love my hair like spoony had hers but with a stand up tiara rather than a hair band type one!

I'm going to go for back of my head whether it's up or down, not over my face either - I'd feel uncomfortable x

Mine wont be over my face, mainly because I don't trust whoever lifts it up to put it straight - it will be sticking up at all angles as it's quite stiff!

im wearing mine on mine on the back of my head, not over my face i dont think many people wear them over their face now but it all depends how you feel try it both ways and see which you feel most comfortable

I desperately wanted mine over my face but it would and did snag on my tiara! Also it messed my hair up no end!! So i'm having it like the picture above! x

I think it's nice over the face x
CommentAuthorExcited_bride_to_be
I agree with Roxy. I think it looks nice over the face and that's how I want mine but I guess it's how you feel most comfortable. I'm worried mine might snag on my tiara or Michael might not put it back right. x

I think it looks nice over the face, i think you should try it with your hair done and decide how it feels for you. did you try it on with your dress at fittings and tried it over and not, which felt better for you.

Personally I wont be wearing one but if i was it would not be going over my face x
CommentAuthorFaeth
I will be wearing veil but I won't be having the shorter layer over my face. But it's pure preference, rather than anything else, so I'd try it both ways as others have suggested and see what feels right for you :-)

Kaz that pic is gorgeous!!! I want a long veil with diamontes in that goes to the floor and lays over the whole of the back of my dress!
My mum thinks it's old fashioned to have a veil full stop, but I keep having to remind her it's my effing wedding not hers!!! xxx
