Ok so i would like to include my step dad and step into the wedding but dont know how exactly, i have some ideas but not 100% keen on them....so hoping you creative lot will have some ideas im yet to think off

    1. Step dad take me from house to church, then hand me over to my dad at the church and dad walks me down the aisle.
    2. step dad does a toast at the reception. not a speech just a simple toast.
    3. have a father daughter dance with step dad - he pick song.
    4. step dad says a few words at the church.
    5. Step mum be maid of honer (this was my mums idea)
    6. step dad, father inlaw to be are witnesses and step mum maid of honer (mum yet to mention if she wants to part of day in anyway)

I dont know what to do....anyone got some other ideas or additional thoughts?

you could ask both of your step paretns to do a reading at the ceremony. Or ask them to each host a table at the reception xx

They sound like lovely, thoughtful ideas hun. Sounds like they get along? My dad & stepdad detest each other :-P
Ask them what they'd be comfortable with?

oh poop, back to drawing board.....step dad does not like idea of being in car with my dad.....its not that they dont get on theres just tension, if that makes sense lol

im staying with my mum and step dad the night before the wedding with my sister and brother in law. They dont like idea of my dad coming to the house (mum, stepdad and sister live up north and staying in rented house for the week) for many reasons.

i like idea of step mum being MOH as i dont have many close female friends and my best made is man of honer (my best mate is actually male).

looks like i might have to speak to my dad and see what he thinks of it all as its all now driving me crazy.
