We went nearly 3 weeks ago. She said she would get it drafted up and sent out for us to sign and then returm to her with the deposit. I chased her last week and the reply was .. Hi Karlie, Thank you for your e-mail. I am delighted to confirm that am holding the Broxbourne Suite for your Wedding Celebration on Saturday 1st October 2011. The documentation will follow at some point next week. Karlie, if I can be of any further assistance to you, please let me know. Kind Regards Sarah

mine took ages
I emailed them about 9 million times and then it was all wrong t'other half kicked off and we have been designated a different coordinator and now things seem to come back to us on the same day after any email

We paid our deposit on Saturday, and received our contract yesterday through the post. Have just to send a signed copy back to them now :-) x

Think we waited a few days. However they took an age writing the schedule, it worries me that it took the wedding coordinator 3 weeks to write it, and still got loads wrong!

I think I might ask for another Co ordinator (if there is one!) I sent a rather snotty email and within 20 mins I had the contract emailed to me ... with the wrong date on it.. Think I will be finding out the name of the top dog at the hotel!!!! Thanks for all your comments. It boosted my confidence to email them!! Kxxx

Holiday inn did this to us 4 times they we're awful and basically conned us out of £250 went to head office though there dealing with it now we had to book another venue a uch better venue though I hope you get this sorted be strong its your money! x
