    Hi, I'm Chrisie.

I haven't even thought about setting a date yet because I don't even have a budget lol. All of my time and money goes on my beautiful baby boy, Daniel! I'd like to know from other bride-to-be mummy's and all those who've manage to get to their big day planning around a child/children because I really need some help!

    Thank you girlies! ;)

Hey hun I know exactly how you feel. We've had to book for 2016 so we have a chance in saving up. Cause all our money goes on our little girl and the house :( I actually don't know how we afford it every month. Way I do it is I put a £5 away here a £10 there and put it in my secret wedding pot. That no one knows about so I can save up. Also means I'm able to get bargains when they pop up. I think that's only way of doing it. Sit down with oh and set the date and talk about the deposits and e big things like reception, ceremony and food. With him focusing on those allows you to save and do the little bits. That's how we are doing it. Good luck hun :) xx

Well we started booking the wedding in November and I have just found out that I am pregnant so I will have to see how that will affect us :/
I have been quite generous with the budget so I can cut back if necessary.
Theres lots of diy and budget tips on here too :)

I think that you're doing the right thing by having your wedding a couple years out as it will help you save. Also look into package deals and beg, borrow, or steal as much as you can. If you have any friends or family that have recently married they may have things they can give you or lend you for your big day.

I know exactly how u feel. I've felt like that numerous times. We had to put it back a year so we cud afford it. Just set yourself a budget and stick to it, easier said than done I no. Lol. Also DIYing a lot of your wedding will cut cost. just put back What you can each week/month. That's What I done whereas now I'm putting back.more than I can afford to because I never realised how quick it came round.

I've bumped a thread for you called money saving tips.
Also look on the bay ect as you can find some good bargains- found a dress that's £600 in shops for £58.
Invites £25 for 100 or try vi$ta they can be cheap.
