    I could cry! lol
After a mega sh... week the oh told me to go and get these shoes id seen at a wedding fayre last week
    *mega excitment!*
so we drove to there, to what looked like a big metal hut lol it was in a area which has abit of a bad rep too so im thinking this isnt going to go good! Then when we got into the shop there was loads of shoes for £60, SO im thinkin this must be the average price for her shoes..not bad oh shudnt mind that much as its a treat..i told her the ones I was after. She got them out for me.

    SQQQQQUEEEEEL
I fell in love. There gorg! (pics in album) I was dancing around in them. and they give me the much needed height for the oh.
So i asked how much? and she casually says- 3,2,5.
YAAAA WHAT?! but she can give me a 20% discount if i buy those ones cos they were used on a catwalk so cant be solt for full price! LOL!!!! £325???!

Do people spend that money on shoes?!
Im on the hunt for simliar ones now.
    Farewell shoes!

They are lovely but like you say very expensive. Are the shoes made by the lady herself or is she selling them on behalf of a designer? I fell in love with my Benjamin Adams boots (rrp £220 ish) but managed to get them from ebay for £20 as they were ex display so dont give up hope! Get googling there are lots of gorgeous shoes out there at bargain prices xxx

I do love the shoes and I did spend a stupid amount on mine (they were jc and discontinued so had to have them shipped from ireland which made the cost go up to £600) so I love shoes but I must admit I like a bargain too and I personally think if you keep an good eye out you will see loads of designers are doing very very similar shoes from as little as probably about £50 if you keep shopping around as this is a popular sort of pattern to follow. Also keep trying ebay as you never know. People are just reluctant to sell after xmas as they assume ppl wont be looking. Good luck.

i have tiny feet so they had no size threes in so had to get from either america or ireland... ireland was closer but raised the price for the import :) and guess what..... they were still a tad too flipping big! The other thing to consider is that 325 is a lot of money to spend on shoes and I will be honest I have not worn mine again as I am too paranoid about getting them wrecked as they left the wedding hardly used (took them off and swapped for grass photos and jumping on dance floor) so they were still in near perfect condition..... hence I strong suggest leave them even though they are nice and find something similar thats not br x x x
Yeah by all means look through piccies... I havent put my wedding ones on there as I cant do it by mass pics but if you want to see them I will give you my fb details.... a fair few of the girls have added me from here to nose at them :) x Happy show hunting x

i like the idea of getting your own crystals and putting them on. Swarovski crystals are dear though about £4 for only a few so you are best getting a mass lot of normal australian crystals from bay of e.

Aw see i did that, i found some gorgeous shoes they were ridiculously expensive, then found another pair with similar sparkles and they were just that bit too high & crippling. so went onto a bridal shoe site, found a plain pair of shoes & decorated the heels myself.
Was going to be charged £150 for less crystals & i did it for around £30!
I did buy the Swarovski ones & yes you only get like approx 50-70 depending on size of them for like £3 whereas rhinestones you got approx 1000, i didn't need that many so went for the more expensive ones.

Mine were plain & I did the heel
    plain boring!
    plain boring!
    finished
    finished

Could that be a route you could venture down perhaps?
    They are GORGEOUS shoes though!!!

Everyone I know has given me a hard time about paying £460 on my shoes and some people have made me feel like absolute poop about it. They are Jimmy Choo's, they are beautiful and I will wear them after the wedding too. I probably won't ever spend that much on shoes ever again and I am not paying for a photographer, cars, wedding rings and we've worked out that I have saved us over £3k on this wedding so I don't feel bad.

If you feel so uncomfortable with the cost of the shoes go for something cheaper, think about whether you will wear them again, if they will be seen on the day and what else you could do with the money.

I regularly spend £170-230 on shoes: Choos and Ginas in the sale. My wedding shoes were £270 (discounted Ginas) and £330 (full-price JCs). For me, they are well worth the money as they are WAY more comfortable than any of my cheaper pairs of shoes (I wore 4 inch high sling-back Gina stilettos for 12 hours at New Year with no issues; most other shoes would have been seriously hurting after about 3 if I was lucky), and they last; one of my pairs of JCs are a whopping 10 years old, but haven't dated even slightly. So for me, £200+ for a pair of shoes that will last 10 years plus, that will be super-comfortable, and that I'll wear time and time again, is actually not an awful lot of money. I can't count the times I've spent £20-30 on a pair of shoes, only to wear them once.

So, to answer your question, yes, I would spend that kind of money on shoes, and I'd definitely have no qualms in spending £325 on wedding shoes if a) they were offering something more than cheaper shoes (ie a design I couldn't get elsewhere, or a superior level of comfort (comfort was REALLY important to me with my wedding shoes because I'll be on my feet so much)) and b) I could wear them again. In your case, because of the colour, it is unlikely you'll wear them again, so no, I wouldn't spend £325 on something I'd wear once. If they were a different colour, and easily wearable after the wedding, then I would.

If you like the crystal styles you might like to check out T Maxx's bridal range (which includes designer brands), and also Gina; they have massive discounts on their website, and if you register with them, they send you a code for a further 20% off sale items twice a year. You can pick up some real bargains. Yoox is also worth a look.

You can get really nice ones from the wedding collection in BHS for much less. Bear in mind you only need them to last for one day. I'm using the ones that I wore when I was a bridesmaid at my brother's wedding, as they are ivory and decorative, and with just the right amount of heel for me (ie. very little). I got them in a BHS sale for £4.
