Not been on for a while, just wanted to get your thoughs and advice,
I have had a quote for personalised wedding stationary of £400 for the below:-
Ribbon Range Postcard Evening Invitations Ribbon Range Pocket Wedding Invitations Standard RSVPs with printed envelopes Name tags for organza bags Ribbon Range Table Names / Numbers Seating plan Post Box Ribbon Range Guest Book
This includes guest names and a photo of us on the front and all matching (100 Guests Day 80 Evening). I think this is a reasonable price to pay what are your thought please.
PS I cant make my own I don't have the skill or a artistic bone in my body....lol

I think this is an avarage quote. However check with your venue what is included. I just found out mine will do the table plan and place names to my design in with the price. Also are you able to make your own, I have spent £5.00 on card to make my save the dat card and another £5.00 on resvp cards and about £30 on stuff to make the invitations.

I dont have a clue about prices as havent asked for any quotes etc but it doesnt sound too bad to me..
Make sure you shop around and dont agree to the first offer-if you tell one company you''ve been quoted this price Im sure you'll find they'll be competative and lower their price's too

Personally I do think thats alot but it depends what your after and what your budget is! I am getting mine from a lovely lady who listened to what I wanted and came back with a brillant design for me and for £225 I shall be getting......
Pocketfold Wedding Invitations with 3 inserts x60 Pocket evening invitations with 1 insert x40 Name tags for place setting which will be attached to red wooden roses (surplied by me) x 70 Table Names x7 plus the top table Menu's x7 Seating plan tab's (will be attached to a mirror again surplied by me) 60 page Guest Book to match the rest of stationary (blank pages as will be putting tags in from the tree) Wish tags for our wishing tree x70 Poem explaining what to do for the wish tree Poem for the sweet/dessert table Poem for the photo prop corner Poem to go on the cake table Poem to go on the present/post box table
All my stationary will be on black card with ivory paper and then there will be red roses and crystals attached to them

I'm a bit iffy about paying £20 odd for invites off vista print! Could never spend hundreds of pounds on paper.

i think that is a lot when not to sound horrible most will end up in the bin after!
i did see some really nice stationary that was just over £300 but because i thought they would end in the bin i changed my mind and went for cheaper one that were about £120 xx

I agree with Terri, it all ends up in the bin! We are not going to be spending much on ours Day guests dont see evening invites and vice versa so we really dont see why they have to match! We got Save the Date cards from Tesco for £2.50 a pack of 10] H2B wants to do the table plan so off to Hobby...Craft he shall go! Evening invites will come from wherever we find a bargain and will be in multipacks Name tags will be made by us

I'm kind of planning on making my own invites, but it's a while off yet, and I may change my mind if I find a great deal somewhere!
