Depends what you want! I'm only having bouquets and buttonholes so it is relatively little, but if you want centrepieces, pew ends, pedestal arrangements etc it gets expensive.

And then thers want flowers... seasonal local flowers will be cheaper than something exotic like orchids.

It also depends on real or silk etc .... I'm doing alot myself and in artificial flowers, so I can do them in advance, plus in July real flowers will give my hayfever a run for it's money!! x

Not sure, mine are working out as quite expensive. I'm having a shower bouquet (wasn't going to but changed my mind), a posie for my bm, a double buttonhole for my H2B and singles for the other men. Corsages for the women. Also a centerpeice for the main hall of the venue. Works out at about £250, which i don't think is bad. It does depend on which flowers you want.

We got our quote today which includes a display for the church at £95 - our total is just under £600 which is more than I thought it would be. We are having 5 bouquets and floral arrangements for 11 tables amongst other things. The minister told us that quite a few people take their church display(s) with them to the reception. We see it as our present to them.

we are spending about £800 thats for my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, flower girl wand, 8 buttonholes, 4 corsages, 10 pew ends, 2 pedastals and 6 centre pieces plus our florist is taking the church flowers to our venue for us, that is all real flowers of white roses, white peonies and midnight gerbras, but have changed my mind as want silk flowers for the wedding party so we can keep them then everything else will be real flowers and was also thinking about just having white roses with burgundy roses, so the price will be going down as well which is always a good thing lol xx

we're having a reasonable small wedding so for the following:

    brides bouquet x 1 = £80
    bridesmaid bouquet x 1 = £55
3 x table arrangements (long pink gerberas with some greenery) = £45
    1 x wrist corsage for my mum = £10
1 x hair comb piece with gerberas for my hair = £10
1 x special button hole for groom(thistle along wtih colours to match my bouquet) = £10
1 x normal button hole for best man = £6
1 x childs button hole for our wee boy = £4

getting all that for £220..my mum thinks thats well good she was expecting around the £500 mark xx

    White roses and thistles
    Brides bouquet -£45
    Bridsmaid wrist corsages x 4 - £60
    Flower girl posy - £25
    Buttonholes x 8 - £44
    Child buttonholes x 2 - £2
Pedestal - £65 - Taking to use for top table at venue
    Pew ends x 2 - £20
    Centrepieces x 7 - £105

    Total - £376

Flowers are very expensive! I was going to do my own centre pieces but the florist's looked so nice. We have cut costs in other areas. For example - No favours. I know there should be but reception drinks, wine for the meal not to mention a 3 course meal I felt was quite adequate to provide our guests. The favours always get left or forgotton anyway!
