Ours comes with our package but I know if you were to hire one for a wedding it is more expensive than for a party. I can get one for £120 for party but say the magic word "wedding" and they bump the price up a bit, x

Our venue package has optional choice of their resident dj but he is charging £300 for 5 hours i thought it was a little steep, but not booked a dj for a wedding before so wouldnt know.

We are paying £255 for our DJ from 7.30 - 12.30 but this includes uplighting all around the venue walls in the colours of our choice and bubble machine and special effects like that

Our DJ was recommended by the hotel and also my hairdresser - I prefer going off people's recommendations as it's so much money to pay out to be disappointed...having a rubbish DJ is my worst nightmare...
Our's is costing £270 to play from 7.30pm - 1.30am. There's another post here I'll bump for you hun giving advice about costs etc.

Our quote is £1500, but that's for 7pm to 2am and includes an LED sparkley dancefloor, lights that move in time to the music (which h2b seems to think is vitally important!), uplighters around the room in our chosen colour, and an absolutely massive playlist. It looks more like a nightclub set up than a dj. Going to try and get him down a bit lower though I think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x
