Ive been emailing about to get some quotes for cars, Ive found a local company who have offered me the use of a 7 seater limo and a vintage windsor royale, for £535...
I was also thinking about a vintage bus for my guests... have any of you ladies enquired about this and if yes how much?

As long as they can do it in a hour you shouldn't be charged more as that price should be for an hours hire not based on milage but check and see what they say x

I have my car for 210 and that includes two trips one for the bridesmaids and another for me and my best friend who is giving me away
It them takes me and the hubby from the church to where we are having photos will wait for up to 2 hours for the pics then take us back to the reception venue ;) x x

Check and see if any local taxi companies offer wedding cars ;) huge discount compared to what I had been quoted for at wedding fayres x

We are having a Cream Austin Princess (seats uo to 7) It is costing us £295 including champagne,ribbons and flowers to decorate the car.The hire period is from when it arrives at 12.30pm(i can ask for it to come earlier if i want for no extra cost) until after my groom and i arrive at the venue(including hanging around at venue for photos)It will do as many trips from my house to the church as are required,Likewise it will do as many trips as needed to the reception from the church.This flexibility has allowed us to just have the one car and save ££££

We had a vw campervan for £250 - and that included 2 trips to the ceremony (groom, best man and bm, then my dad and me) and a return trip to the reception for me and my husband.
We organised taxis for the guests to get from the hotel to the ceremony and then from the ceremony back to the hotel for the reception. As we only had 17 guests (and only 3 needed a taxi to the ceremony) it worked out quite cheap. The taxi company arranged to put on 2 minibuses for all the guests to get back to the reception - and for all that it only cost us £20!!!

We're having a hackney carriage!! Never used commercially, and it's a bit quirly so we loved it, and best of all it's only £150 for 3 hours hire :)

We are having x2 cars one for the BM’s – 2 trips to the venue and 2 trips the reception – Car Daimler Limousine My car Beauford Convertible – x2 Trips one to the venue with e and my Dad then my the H2Bto the venue and to take me and the H2B to the hotel we are staying in in the night. £500 the lot. They are willing to do a few trips for my parents and the grooms men to the reception also

I'm having a Rolls Royce Phantom and 2 Daimler Limos for a total of £850 which is basically for the entire day as I am traveling from Southport to the other side of Preston. Was pretty chuffed with the price. Was looking into getting a bus for my day guests but eventually decided against it as really it's not my problem how they get there lol. That sounds really nasty but you know what I mean

i agree with that karenz.... dont know if ill be putting a bus on cos we went to a wedding a while back they did and we said wed go in it and alot of people ended up just sharing cars so im not sure if its really worth it.
i emailed the fella and he said that for the car to go to h2b's mums house and get h2b and his best man and take them to church then the limo to take my mum and bridesmaids to church and the car to come get me and h2b and then take me and h2b from church to hotel and mum dad brides maids and best men to hotel and champagne its still £535, im thinking thats pretty good and hes freezing it at 2011 prices.... thinking i may go for it xx

I`m not having transport for me as i`m staying at the venue the night before ....Mr lala is having a toyota Mr2 roadster .. it is quite a special one as it is the only one in that colour and also the only one fitted with a nitreous (sp) kit ......
We booked in the summer a Silver Cloud, which cost us just over £200

We are having 2 7series BMWs and an 8 seat mini bus, with as much trips as we need back and forth from venues for 9hours for the grand price of £1150. I think its the most iv seen on her for transport, our price is almost halved as well! But we are getting it for a good while and we are now getting married later in the day so wont need the cars for as long so price may still come down. Its also our first quote so far but as its my h2bs friend and he wants these cars i think we may be going with them. X x x

We're thinking of booking a daimler V8 (for me and my dad) and a jaguar mk4 (for bridesmaids), with chauffer and ribbons for journey to church and then onto reception plus time for photos for £595 all in. Not sure if it included champange...will be checking up on that one! xx

I'm having a blue colomia six (apparently it's the only one in the country and one of two in the world) and it's about £300. It's taking OH and his BM first then coming back for me, my dad and my girls. It's then taking us to our reception. The photos don't do it justice and it's such a lovely car when you see it xx

Ours is in Cyprus so wont help in the slightest. We are having BMW convertible for me and my two boys. 95 euros BMW 7 series for bridesmaid and my eldest brother (hes walking me down the aisle) 75 euros Open top wedding bus 2 way trip with glass of champagne for each guest (4 ways altgoether but 2 ways are already included in price of of our boat hire) 249 euros
