I didn't have a very expensive engament ring, but would love us to both have really nice wedding rings. My Dad has given me my Great Grandmas wedding ring which is 18ct yellow gold plain band, it is quite wide and heavy, but I really wanted white gold for both of us..... I was thinking £150/ 200 per ring, can't really afford any more than that.
What you all spending? sorry to be nosey... any ideas for rings would be great too! ;)
    Kaye xx

Think my one was £169 & hubbys £119.

We looked at loads.. my brother just quit from being a jeweller and said price hardly ever reflects the quality. In fact ours are better quality than some of the ones that were £400+

    I couldn't imagine spending 1k + for rings.

mines a white gold band set with alternate spahhires and diamonds - but im having the sapphires changed for tanzanite. It cost £124, and its an old vintage pice which i love.
I dont care that its not new - it has history and i like vintage. Besides, it will be new to me and when i get the tanzanite in it and have had it made bigger - i like to think it will be custom made for me!

My OH wants a titanium ring, which is apparently very hardwearing but they all come out price-wise at under £100. Which suits me fine, I can spend more on mine! My e-ring is platinum, so I want my w-ring to be platinum as well, but I only want a plain band.

What I'm planning at the moment though is collecting Tesco vouchers, cos you can exchange every £10 for £40 vouchers for a 'well-known high street jeweller'. Currently got £60, so that's £240 towards a ring.

H2b paid nearly £700 for e-ring, which is gorgeous, but I don't want to spend nearly as much on w-ring!!! I'm thinking about £400 for the pair, from H Samuels which we've got a discount for, think it's only 10%, but if that'll take us down to £350 then get in!

my engagement ring was £4000 just over but our wedding bands are working out for me around 650 and him 600 as i am having a row of diamonds too just to be greedy h2b said he would rather spend 10k on our rings than on the wedding ! as the wedding is one day and our rings will be with us forever i would rather do it the other way round so we are compromising

I got mine in Argos - £29.99. I wanted plain gold band. H2b had planned to get his there and I thought I may as well have a look too. I had been to several jewllery stores but couldn't find 'Halo' style ring (what i REALLY wanted). When I tried on the Argos ring I liked the style so decided there and then to get it. I said to H2b he could get me an expensive ring on our 10th anniversary!
