Within the week before the wedding I'm going to be having some treatments to try and make myself a little bit more presentable (I'm one of those girls who shoves her hair on top of her head and smears makeup around her face) However I have no idea how much it will cost :/ I've had a look on a few websites and they don't seem to have prices so I was wondering if you ladies could help me out?

    I'll be wanting:
    - Eyebrow wax
    - Under arm wax
    - Spray tan
    - Hair extensions (micro weft/ micro ring/ nano ring/ clip in)
    - Eyelash extensions (The semi permanent ones)
    - Acrylic nails or some sort of nail extension

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks :)

Totally depends where you live TBH.

I live in Greater London, and round here, things ain't cheap. Average prices are:

    Eyebrow wax: £5
    Under arm wax: £10
    Spray tan: £45
    Eyelash extensions: £20-30
    Acrylics: £30

Hair extensions vary massively depending on which ones you have; clip-ins tend to be relatively inexpensive; bonded ones can cost upwards of several hundred pounds depending on how many you have, how long they are, the type of hair used, etc.

It often depends on the type of place you go, i.e. salon will be higher priced, going to somewhere like a college where they're training to do the treatments could do it cheaper. It can often vary from place to place, so I'd suggest if these sites have contact numbers/emails, I would contact them and just say what you're looking to have done and just ask for a quote. xxx

Thanks Barbie, I can either get it all done in Reading (Berkshire) or Hull (East Yorkshire) although I don't know if that'll effect that cost too much :/ x

Call some salons in the areas you are looking at and get some average prices. It might even be worth asking for a 'package' of the treatments that you want and see if you can get a reduction in price? Worth a try :) x

If you google the salons near you many will have price lists online. Some places will offer a bridal package to make it a little cheaper.

One piece of advice, please avoid the 'cheap nail bars', they're cheap for a reason and the products they use can be dangerous.

    Eyebrow Wax - £10
    Underarms - £10
Eyelashes - up to £60 depends on what you want
Hair Extensions - up to about £300 - £400 again depends on what you are looking for - your hairdresser should be able to get clip in ones for cheap

Spray tan - im paying £15 for mine
Nails - £30 if you have gels I pay £16

I agree with OWB please avoid them as they can damage your nail bed and then take ages for it to go back to normal.

You should be able to get a package at most salons. Also remember if you have eyelash extensions you would need to get them refilled in every two weeks so try and get them done a few days before. Also you have to find out if you can have them as I cant because of the way my eyelashes go and they do look silly on me

I wouldn't ever go to a really cheap nail bar because one of my friends nail bed got infected from badly put on acrylics (they cut her skin to fit the nail on).

Thanks to everyone who replied, got a much better idea of how much it'll cost! xx

Im not sure on the wax side of things at moment am in research mode for that myself...

Eyelashes cost me £20-30 when i had them a couple of years ago but having falsies included with my make up package.

Hair extensions can vary between £20 - £500 depending what you have and where you go, and also length, style, amount & also cost for having them put in.
when i had them few years ago was a good £100-150 to buy the hair and have them weaved in. I had to have doubles as my hair is so thick, but be careful if havent had before... after 2 weeks i was pulling them out EVERY time... i had them over 3 years about 6 times...each time within 2 weeks id had enough. clip on or hair pieces are much better!

I had a set of nails done 2 weeks ago which cost me £30 and from a decent nail salon ive used for years!
but having two lots of infills done (inc one at 2pm today!) so by wedding it'll be my own nail not the white fake bit, will be my own nail with powder over top, and each infill is £17.

    xx

Thanks Lou! I've had a look a few people who do extensions near me and it's looking like it'll be closer to 200 if I want them done professionally :/ I think I might just go for clip ins X

I know a really good lady for waxing in Reading, she's amazing and does everything really well. I've been waxed in high end places and places that claim to be good (but have no clue). She's definitely one of the top ladies I've ever worked with. I'll pop the link on your wall.
