    When you can't afford it. Seriously I think that it's one of those things that you set a budget for and then follow it. Otherwise, it's a black hole of cute little extras, pretty add-ons, etc.

    Ive got my engagement party next month we are just having table clothes and small center pieces (i'm making them myself only worked out about £30) I thought I would save the rest of the decorations for the big day, but our venue was very pricey so i suppose if i hadn't spent so much on the hall i would have had more for the decorations. I guess its as much as you want to have its your party and if you don't have it you will only regret it so i would do what you want to do. hope this helped x

    We just had weighted balloons on the tables with a few LED candles and some table confetti. Simple but looked lovely (well we thought so! Lol) x
