Wedding Forum - How may times have you changed yours?...

I know I have a long time to think about this, but with all the wedding fayres coming up and hopefully being able to set the date in stone I have been thinking about the colours of the wedding a lot.

Currently I love aqua, turquoise and all those vivid shades of bluey greens :)
But I know I will more likely change my mind as we start being able to plan and book things!

So I was wondering how many times did you change your mind about your theme or colours? x

We didn't change either.... Rather than a colour we thought was nice we choose something we both loved and colour meant something to us.... As silly as that sounds we love red and both got dark hair so look nice with red so easy choice for us plus we felt it was romantic and colour of roses so nice choice.

I always quite set on having purple and ivory, but now this has sort of changed due to the flowers - having daisies and sunflowers, but i like the look of yellow on purple so it should work out okay.

However, I did have a vague wobble about colours last summer when all i kept seeing was yellow and grey colour schemes which I adore! But sticking to my gut instinct (also my bridesmaids had already starting looking for purple dresses so I didn't want to mess them around!)

Oh we were set on olive green too, but after power blue suit gate we decided on aubergine xx

We picked our Wedding Color & Theme straight away and have never changed it We don't need to change our colors or theme as they are personal to us I love Emerald Green n H2B loves Blues so they suit our personality fines Plus H2B knows he will never change my mind once I have it set in Gold In my head lool plus he had the same thought just let me pick a lil logo for us One Green Rose One Blue Rose with a crown as he is my king I am his queen And he knows I said from the start I want a green Wedding but I added in blue as it is not just my Day it's our day and If i hog it with just Pure green it's unfair =D <3 X

Well we didn't want to change our color but because Olly couldn't find the color suit he wanted we had to change to color theme, honestly the mans a diva lol xx

Once! And even then I didnt change it more liked ADDED to it :-)

Oh Laura you'd be hung drawn and quartered lol, but because he's a man, he was just being attentive and involved lol or so he says =D xx

We haven't changed mind but did take us a while to agree on a colour and stick to it x

We have two young daughters who love gingerbread men so it has got them very excited!!! Planning on having names iced onto gingerbread men for place settings and girls are going to help me make gingerbread xmas tree decorations for favours :-)

i knew the mintue he proposed i was having a halloween wedding as he proposed ON halloween n its also like my second birthday :P(since my first birthday is valentines day)

We didn't change it as such, we just added to it. Originally it was champagne and ivory but as it is a summer wedding we felt this might be a bit too dull so we added in coral and gold and now have a grecian feeling going on xx

Once.

We were planning on a star theme with a pale blue, silver and white colour scheme.

However, I've realised it's quite a popular colour scheme for winter weddings, so when I talked it through with Ed we both decided we didn't want a typical winter wedding colour scheme.

I've just decided on mint, pale pink and silver, and having e-mail Ed the colour swatches together he is in agreement. I'm hoping to still include stars in some way, as I love them, hence the silver being in there!

We haven't changed our minds once. When we first started wedding planning, h2b said he wanted burgundy as the colour scheme and that was it, we've never changed our minds

We have stuck to ours, but have had to add silver after I found my dress which has a silver bow. Not too much of a hassle as we're going with black & white. x

I've changed we were going for a real romantic vintage theme but ours is more rustic woodland now with lots of twigs, bark,pine cones and hessian and twine x

I don't think it matters too much about the time of year. We're getting married in June and having burgundy

I changed mine from pink & white as I thought it looked pretty,but my fav colour has always been red since I was small,and red kept coming to me when out shopping,so its now red and white,even at wedding fayres I kept being shown red,as I get married in October,it's a great lead up to Christmas ,thats my excuse anyway :)

ive changed my loads of times

It started of fushia (h2b choice)
then we struggled with bm dresses so went to red.
Only i didnt like anything red :S
Then we saw and AMAZING green and pink scheme, only the dresses i showed h2b werent the right shades (flippin shades! grrr) lol
then we went back to fushia after seeing some dresses on ebay.
Then H2b mentioned hes wants a navy suit and then i decided i wanted navy! haha

So we ran out and bought the bm dresses before i could change my mind again :P lol

Once........I went from the main colours being red and white
but got the comment of

"WOW, really thats not you"

so thought about it and decided she was right!
so now my colours are black and ivory with red roses which any one who knows me knows is me down to a t ;-)

once. started out as navy blue with orange accents. Now it's blue/pink/red/yellow with a hint of orange (sounds awful eh lol)

Ive changed my mind sooooooooo many times! From purple to yellow to green...

Ive changed my date a zillion times too!

Its a wonder i dont want to change my h2b too lol ;P x

we haven't exactly changed our minds just tweaked the colours a little to different shades we start with dark red and ivory but when look at at flowers and dresses we liked the bit darker shade of burgundy we are still have ivory as our other colour but have since added a little bit of gold here and there as our venue as lovely gold chair we are using for the wedding breakfast and ceremony so wanted to tie these in to x

I wanted pale pink & cream/ivory for yeeeeeeeeeeeeears & have now changed my mind & want Cadbury purple & cream/ivory lol xx
