That's why so many people are combining it with one tier of cake one tier of cupcakes etc. or you can do 2 smallish tiers then have the rest a mound of cupcakes!xx

Honesty lula - i don't even want that!! It think it's because if left to me i probably won't bother having a cake but my moms been all "ooo people expect a cake" so i'm having one - but now i'm having one i don't want a horrible cheapy one -but i just can't stand the idea of paying £200 + for a cake!! It seems like madness! I also don't think I want a white "weddingy" cake. But then again i don't really want cupcakes!!

I think the long and the short of it is - i dont really want a cake! I just can't make a decission on it! x

Ah ok well then your doing the best thing, if you don't want then just buy a small cheap white cake that the guests can have! Keeps everyone happy! And one less thing you need to stress over! X

I'm having 30 guests to the daytime reception and 150 to the evening.
Do I have to have cake for the evening guests then??

I'm having a Chocolate and Guinness cake!!
It's the best cake I've ever tasted ;-)

Rachel - depends when your cutting the cake. See we're having 2 different rooms for day and night so am having the cake placed in the evening room... so that EVERYONE gets to see it for the first time at the same time.. and also means no worries about carting it up and down stairs etc.

KelBel - go for whatever you fancy, every tier can be the same or different, whichever you prefer!! x
